These data were presented at the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology (ACAAI) Annual Scientific Meeting in Houston. The data was collected in a double-blinded, self-administered online survey of 80 allergists and immunologists who prescribe both OIT and SCIT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check out the complete press release here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why has real-world evidence gained so much traction in recent years<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong> <\/strong>In the ever-evolving healthcare market, both researchers and practitioners are increasingly considering innovative methods to advance the quality of care and improvement of patient outcomes. The healthcare systems that earlier focused on medical interventions driven by episodic interaction with the patients are now recognizing the need to fully understand exogenous factors (such as genomics, behavior, and social and environmental) in order to deliver continual care. As per a report by Roots Analysis,&nbsp;between January 2016 and June 2018, ~500 scientific articles were published, highlighting relevant data sources and novel application areas for real-world data.
