In addition, big pharma companies, including <a href=\"https:\/\/opnme.com\/molecules\/bet-mz-1\">Boehringer Ingelheim<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evotec.com\/en\/invest\/news--announcements\/press-releases\/p\/evotec-and-celgene-enter-partnership-in-the-field-of-targeted-protein-degradation-5721\">Celgene<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.novartis.com\/stories\/discovery\/novartis-and-uc-berkeley-take-undruggable-proteins-new-collaboration\">Novartis<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/pfe-pfizercom-prod.s3.amazonaws.com\/partnering\/recent_partnership\/Arvinas_Pfizer_Press_Release_010418.pdf\">Pfizer <\/a>have launched internal efforts and forged partnerships to explore the modality. Recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dundee.ac.uk\/stories\/boehringer-ingelheim-and-university-dundee-highlight-successful-protac-drug-discovery\">Boehringer Ingelheim and the University of Dundee<\/a> extended their collaboration for the development of PROTAC based drugs to treat cancer, building on the success of their ongoing alliance.&nbsp;Similarly, <a href=\"https:\/\/cen.acs.org\/pharmaceuticals\/drug-discovery\/Novartis-Berkeley-researchers-team-tackle\/96\/i17\">Novartis collaborated with the University of California, Berkeley to establish the Novartis-Berkeley Center for Proteomics and Chemistry Technologies<\/a>. The center combines Novartis&#8217; expertise in chemical biology with Berkeley&#8217;s expertise in covalent chemoproteomics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To say that this space is growing would be an understatement. The potential to <em>drug the undruggable<\/em> is just far too more lucrative to let a few roadblocks come in the way.
