The Roots Way

How Roots Helped?

By leveraging a robust therapeutic area assessment framework, Roots Analysis analyzed the rare hematology landscape to deliver an evidence‑driven roadmap shaping R&D focus and future commercial strategy.
Drug Pipeline Analysis: We built an exhaustive view of approved and pipeline assets across three rare hematological indications of client’s interest: immune thrombocytopenia, warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia and sickle cell disease. For each drug, we captured detailed information across different important parameters, such as mechanism of drug, modality type, development stage, dosage regime and special regulatory designations.
Decode Clinical Practice and Treatment Pathways:We consolidated the global treatment guidelines into structured frameworks spanning diagnosis, first‑ and second‑line regimens and care algorithms, anchoring commercial strategy in real‑world clinical decision pathways across patient segments.
Patient Demand and Revenue Forecast:We developed an informed methodology to estimate the market opportunity for each of the three target indications and forecasted drug revenues through 2035. The robust methodology was built by taking into consideration various parameters such as patient population, treatment penetration, patent expiry and annual treatment cost. This analysis was conducted for all approved and phase III assets, across both first‑line and second‑line treatment settings. In addition, the projected estimates were delivered at a granular regional and country level, covering all major global markets.
