On 21 November 2023, Genentech entered into a strategic research collaboration with NVIDIA. This partnership aims to combine Genentech's artificial intelligence capabilities, extensive biological and molecular datasets, and research proficiency with NVIDIA's preeminent accelerated computing capabilities and AI technology. 

The primary goal is to expedite the process of drug discovery and development significantly. Through this collaboration, Genentech intends to bolster its advanced AI research initiatives by transforming its generative AI models and algorithms into an advanced AI platform. This advancement is expected to streamline the discovery and delivery of innovative therapies and medications.
