Roots Analysis designed a Key Opinion Leader assessment focused on mapping industry experts across different tiers. KOL playbooks were created by defining tier-wise interaction frequency to pinpoint the most relevant / active expert across a therapeutic indication / region.
Built a Complete Kol Dataset and Simple Tiers: The team assembled a comprehensive database of relevant experts across priority countries by systematically integrating information from publications, clinical trial registries, conference agendas, guidelines and digital platforms. Each KOL was scored on structured parameters, such as academic and institutional affiliations, years of experience, publication volume, citation strength, clinical trial leadership, speaking roles and online influence and then assigned to clear tiers (global, regional, local, digital and emerging) to support focused planning.
KOL Playbook Featuring Individual Profiles:Within each tier, high‑priority KOLs were captured in concise profiles summarizing their scientific focus areas, preferred channels, historical and recent engagements, stance on key topics, and documented influence on clinical practice and trial activity. This playbook outlined tailored engagement objectives and touchpoints for each tier—what to discuss, which evidence gaps to address and when to involve them across pre‑launch, launch, and post‑launch phases—ensuring KOL activities translated into measurable impact on trials, guidelines and brand performance.
Delivered Insight-driven Strategies:Drawing on the above insights, we developed
company‑specific SWOT studies and a competitive analysis that benchmarked each CMO against peers on the
relative strengths and weaknesses. These insights were translated into actionable recommendations
highlighting company specific peptide outsourcing trends in the region and outlining strategic moves the
client should prioritize to strengthen its own competitive position.
